Named one of Indiana’s SuperLawyers in 2007, Douglas Ulmer’s areas of practice include family law, criminal law, and business law. He is an experienced trial attorney and has practiced law for over 30 years. A graduate of Valparaiso School of Law, Doug served as Law Clerk for the Allen Superior Court in 1984 and established his law practice in 1985. He was a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney for the Allen County Prosecutor’s Office and now serves as a Deputy Public Defender for the Allen Superior Court Drug Court Program. Doug was recently appointed to serve on the Judicial Nominating Commission. Doug is a respected member of the Allen County Bar Association and enjoys providing cost effective legal services to his clients.
Michelle Fennessy Kraus has practiced law for 25 years. Michelle was admitted to the practice of law in the State of Indiana and before the United States District Courts for the Northern and Southern Districts of Indiana and the Eastern Division of Michigan (Detroit). She is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Michelle’s law practice is concentrated primarily in the area of criminal law, with an emphasis on criminal defense. Michelle has vast experience with jury trials, representing clients with charges that range from misdemeanor offenses to capital offenses. She has tried hundreds of jury trials throughout the State of Indiana and has argued before the Indiana Supreme Court and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals.
John Nimmo has practiced law for over 30 years. He has extensive trial experience, having tried well over a hundred jury trials including cases wherein the State sought the death of his client. John prides himself on providing ethical and aggressive representation for all of his clients either in his capacity as a public defender or privately retained counsel. He is available for consultation on criminal matters.
